Special occasions to celebrate

Special occasions to celebrate

From going all out to only saying a sweet word and exchanging treats, celebrating special occasions is a part of who we are. It’s evident in pagan and ancient Egyptian rituals through to the abundance of special days we can celebrate in our modern era.

There are the “popular” ones: Valentine’s Day (February 14th) and New Year’s Day (January 1st); the lesser-known ones: Doughnut Day (June 2nd) and Chocoholics Day (July 7th); and the obscure ones: Take your Dog to Work Day (June 23rd) and Noodle Day (October 6th). We also have a mix of fun and serious days, such as World Heart Day (September 29th) and Mental Health Day (October 10th).

Some of these celebrations can last for days and need weeks of preparations, but they all have the same things at their centre – love. Love for someone (or someones); love for a country or objects; love of a concept, action or event. It’s something we want to share with our loved ones and like-minded people.

As always, My Chocolate Box is here to make things easy. We believe in sharing is caring, which is why we ensure all our boxes are chock-a-block with chocolatey goodness. So however you want to celebrate, you’ll have what you need to create divine treats or to give a delicious sweet to someone special.
